Statement
Byte & Body exists at the intersection of art, community, and craft. Born from the open-source world of Nouns and brought to life through Flows, we’re rewriting the rules of what a clothing brand can be. Nouns is an idea as much as it is a framework for unfiltered creativity. Its art is free for anyone to use, reimagine, and reinvent. We’ve taken this permissionless ethos to heart. The designs we create borrow from Nouns’ iconic imagery and the expansive body of work shaped by its community, and they’re yours to transform.
Our commitment to this freedom doesn’t compromise our focus on process. Every garment begins in London, where it is cut and sewn by skilled artisans, one piece at a time. We only create what’s needed—your order triggers the making. There’s no stockroom, no excess inventory, no wasteful overproduction. It’s a system that values intention over excess, and it allows us to produce with care, not speed.
We don’t stop at making garments that are thoughtful in how they’re produced—we think about what they’re made of. Organic, biodegradable fabrics, textiles born from recycled materials, and components sourced locally form the basis of our collections. What we can’t use gets passed on, with fabric remnants offered to DIY enthusiasts and crafters to transform into something entirely new. It’s not just about avoiding waste; it’s about rethinking the way fashion works.
Byte & Body isn’t about following trends or fitting into existing molds. It’s about building something that feels alive, driven by the energy of a global community and grounded in the care of individual hands. It’s about creating without boundaries—designs that aren’t just wearable, but participatory. When you wear Byte & Body, you’re not just wearing a product; you’re becoming part of the experiment.
